Congratulations are in order after the latest set of staff promotions.
First, to our recently appointed Production & Development Manager, Vernon Cox. Vernon was previously the AM Shift Supervisor and has the practical production experience essential to success in his new role.
Filling the vacancy of AM Shift Supervisor is the skilled and knowledgeable John Jones. John’s culinary background is an excellent compliment to manufacturing operations. Prior to Shift Supervisor, John was a PM Shift Team Leader.
Kudos to Alex Hills who has demonstrated the skills and knowledge to be the new PM Shift Team Leader. Team leadership roles (2 per shift) require a commitment to being a champion for health and safety and works with the supervisors to set production targets while achieving those targets through team organization, motivation, and leadership.
Vernon, John and Alex have all worked very hard and we hope they take some time to celebrate their efforts in creating a career in specialty confectionery manufacturing. All 3 of them started as entry-level factory staff, progressing skills not only in the production process but equipment and leadership.
Paul Chapman, FoodFlo International’s Chief Operations Officer said “It is exciting to see that all three team members are committed to excellence in all they do, and applying that commitment to create a career here at FoodFlo. I look forward to seeing many more success stories like Vernon, John, and Alex to come.”
All three have taken on their new roles with enthusiasm and a commitment to quality & safety.
"Identifying talent within the workforce is extremely positive, sourcing highly capable and engaged new staff into the business has been the icing on the cake for us," said Chapman, "Everyone is looking forward to growing with the business and further exceeding our customer's expectations."
